Please join me, Magruder Murray, for
“From Start to Now (because I am not finished yet)”
The title of the show, “From Start to Now!”, is the tale of my journey from my first painting until now. I also proclaim that I am not finished yet as I experiment and try new things and I learn more of my craft and use it to tell my stories. I believe that all art should tell a story, stir an emotion, cause an action, or just sooth your soul.
Join me on Friday, May 2nd, 2014 from 6 pm until 8 pm at:
Culture Coffee (a new and exciting venue for Coffee, Conversation, Art, and Music)

The Eye, Skill, and Imagination of the Artist
Join Magruder Murray and fellow artists, Cortez Austin and Russell Simmons, in an exhibit featuring the eye, skill and imagination of an artist. This exhibit is an exploration and artistic interpretation of each of their concepts of the world through photography and art: realism, representational, modern and abstract. It delves into what they see and how they express themselves working from the same subjects. Each artist uniquely combines his eye, skill and imagination in the creation of his works of art.
